Group Classes

A2tor has group classes in various subjects for students in grades K-8. These fun classes are a great way to build connections with other students and develop a love of learning.

Our summer session is 5 weeks and runs Monday, July 12th- Saturday, August 14th. The classes are as follows:

Reading: These classes are meant to foster a love of reading. The tutor and students will read a book together, then the tutor will lead a fun discussion or activity related to the book.

K-2 grade - Mondays 4:00 pm-4:40 pm

3-5 grade - Mondays 3:00 pm-3:40 pm.

6-8 grade - Wednesday 3:00 pm-3:40 pm

Culinary Arts (grades 4-8): This group will teach kids how to cook and bake. Students will make a dish with the guidance of the tutors and work on specific techniques integral to making delicious food. This group will meet every other Saturday from 3:00 pm-4:30 pm (July 17th, July 31st, and August 14th)

Math (grades 6-8): Our middle school math sessions are meant to help students stay sharp during the summer, jump ahead of the curve to be ready for the next year or for students who struggled with math this year to review key concepts and clarify doubts about the material taught in class. This group meets Fridays from 4 pm-4:40 pm
